Discover Sailing Day – October 2017

Each year in late October Connells Point Sailing Club participates in Discover Sailing Day.  On this day our members and volunteers give their time to take people for a test sail in either their own boat or one of our Club training boats.  You’ll have the option to go out for a short sail with an experienced sailor, have a look around the club facilities, and find out about the programs and courses available. There is something for the whole family and even kids as young as five years old can sail, when accompanied by a parent or guardian.  People of all abilities are welcome.

Discover Sailing Day is free to attend and all boats and safety equipment are provided by our club.  All you need to bring are clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet, sun screen and a hat.  Shoes with non-marking soles are preferred and a towel and a change of clothes are advisable.  It is recommended that you allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours if you want to get out on the water.
